The Running Order:
 Day 1: Monday 18th August 2014
The running order that it appeared:

 1. President Obama says that iraqian kurdish forces has retaken the vital mosul dam.
Inside the Dam was a booby trap.
The 1st time the iraq borders were pushed back.
I think that the editors chose this story because their are many religions and beliefs that are followed in iraq and this being all over the news it would caught the attention of many people.

2.Women and Children in eastern Ukraine
Near the city of  Luhansk convoy of refugees were hit by rocket fires.
This story is surprising because women and children should be safe and secure but instead they are killed.
It was one of the top stories because it is important that people know.

  1. WWW: There is a lot of very good research here and you've clearly engaged with the ITV News. This will be vital when it comes to the exam topic.
EBI: Look at the task list carefully - this is unfinished. You needed to watch and analyse two more days of news. It's so important we don't get lazy this year - GCSE Media is 60% coursework and anything missing will cost crucial marks. You should be looking clearly at an A or A* but won't get it if you don't go the extra mile!
LR: Do you regularly watch the programme you researched? Why/why not? Where do you get your news from? Answer in a comment below.

  2. Thank you Sir for the constructive criticism. I don't regularly watch this programme at that time but sometimes I do watch the one at 6 just to see anything that could be happening in my area. I don't really watch the news because I never find it interesting and its just not my type of programme that I like to watch. The presenters are really boring and don't fascinate me. It should be more like Channel 4 news cause that's more exciting. I get my news from the BBC London website because it only tells me about interesting news instead of boring news I don't need to know.
